Dr. Imen Zaabar is a faculty member in the Computer Science and Engineering department. She has over ten years of diversified research, teaching and professional experience in various engineering disciplines. Her research contribution includes Sustainable transportation system; Evolutionary Computing, Internet of Things, Smart Infrastructure and transportation systems; Automated detection of pavement distresses; Tire/pavement noise emission; Life Cycle Analysis; Inverse problem; Pavement management and monitoring. Teaching experience encompasses several undergraduate and graduate level courses: numerical methods, data mining, soil dynamics, pavement analysis and design, reliability-based designs, Graphics, Introduction to programming using python. Her background is in civil, electrical and computer engineering.
