Past Projects

Summer 2000 I worked with the Department of Education on the Tele-Web system. Tele-Web is a web based curriculum for elementary school students. It is a database driven web app running on a linux server.

Summer, Fall of 1999 I revised the electronic file submission program used by the undergraduate programming courses. I rewrote handin so that instructors could manage their own courses, have cheat checks performed automatically, conduct surveys, etc. In the Fall I was a TA for CSE 232 to make sure that the software was actually working.

Spring of 1999 I was the Instructor for CPS 260, Discrete Mathematics. That was fun and interesting.

From Summer of 96 through Fall of 98 I was a systems manager for the CPS Instructional Labs. I was mainly responsible for:

I also did web maintenance, miscellaneous scripting and general sys admin stuff. Some of the more interesting web things were the department calendars, and the automatically generated and easily updatable events page.

Fall of 98 I was the TA for CPS 360. Dr. Torng was the instructor.

Spring of 96 I was the TA for CPS 472 . Dr. Weng was the instructor.

Fall of 95 I was the TA for CPS 479 . Dr. Enbody was the instructor.

Spring and Summer of 95 I worked on the ENFORMS II project with Dr. Betty H.C. Cheng and sundry others . I was responsible for the database (Oracle) side of the project.

Summer and Fall of 94 I worked on some projects for Dr. Pramanik . I spent most of my time on AIMS . I was in charge of the database (Sybase). I also worked on an experimental Data Management System that was implemented on Suns using Sybase and on HP's using Oracle.

Spring of 94 I was the TA for CPS330. Dr. Stockman and Charles Severance were the instructors.
