Giving a talk to other MSU students
MSU has a long-standing reputation as a high-quality institution, and the CSE
department is no exception. As a rule, students are intelligent and motivated,
demanding quality from all people and things.
Thus, you, as the presenter, have a tough job to do.
The students you will be addressing were raised to adhere to the principle of excellence,
seeing it as nothing more than what is expected of all humankind. Because
they hold themselves to such immeasurably high standards, it is not surprising
that they expect you, the Computer Science
lecturer, to deliver a high quality presentation.
But do not fear, for as the Great Poet once said, "A challenge is not a challenge
without some element of difficulty, the overcoming of which makes one, in having
overcome this difficulty, a better person."
Now go forth and present!
