Hey there!

I'm Devan.

Currently I'm a student at Michigan State University, where I study Computer Science as well as 'Media and Communication Technology,' a broad major that encompasses web, social media, interactive media and more. I've created this site as the final project for my Client-Side Web Development course, and I'm excited to establish a personal web presence of my own design, where I have complete control over the look and feel as well as the content.

In case my two majors or the site header and navigation buttons haven't brought the point home, I'm interested in both design and development. For details, check out my geeky side and my artsy side. But suffice it to say, as I finish up my degrees and make my way into the real world, I hope to build a career that straddles the technical/creative line.

I want to do it all: design and develop. Make things beautiful and make things functional.

Make things usable and make things efficient.

I want to keep looking for that happy medium, because I think that's where I'll find my dream job.
