Project Details ‘e-Seva’ – BSNL (National Telephone Service Provider) (May - July 2003) Designed and implemented billing module for the ‘BSNL- Hyderabad’s’ ‘E-Seva’ Program (including database and user interfaces). The aim of the project ‘e-Seva’ is to provide e-transactions to the citizens of Hyderabad. This particular module for the BSNL, Ltd was to help the payment of telephone bills and other related transactions. The project was implemented using Visual Basic.Net and Oracle 8.0 as the back end
Expert System For Diagnosing Diseases Based On Symptoms (June-Nov 2004)The system diagnoses diseases by pattern matching the symptoms with those in database. New patterns are added based on statistical methods and concurrence of the doctors. The project was developed using object-oriented methodology in Java using MS-Access as the back end

Classification using Artificial Neural Networks (June-Nov 2005) As a part of project, I experimented with the different network models and parameters of Neural Networks useful for classification. The project was implemented using Matlab and Visual C++
Gesture Recognition using an accelerometer for the ‘Simputer’ (Dec 2005-) The project involves recognizing gestures captured by the accelerometer using Neural Networks and Hidden Markovian Models. I am doing this project under the guidance of Dr.V.Vinay, Associate Professor IISc, Bangalore & Chairman Picopeta Ecological Information System (Dec 2005 –)A multi disciplinary project, it involves the design and development of an Ecological-Information System. The system would be used as a tool to store information, predict conditions and also provide suggestions for a particular ecological system
Academic Achievements Presented a paper on ‘Knowledge Management Systems for Engineering Plants’ for an intra department contest Proposed ideas for patent; SODS- Sonar Obstacle Detection System and ABRAKS- Attachable Braille Key skin The paper titled "Applications of RFID in public transport system to aid the visually impaired" won the Second Place at the All India Student Congress –2005. The same has been accepted for the INDICON-05 Conference, to be held at IIT Madras this December and will be published in the proceedings of the conference
