I am a software developer who recently graduated from Michigan State with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a focus in telecommunications. My goal is to learn as much about computing and programming as I can to help me with my career and my hobbies.
I went through MSU as a computer science engineering major in 4 years (thankfully). I have been passionate about programming since highschool when I picked up a fun tool called GameMaker.
Notable course I have taken include: Mobile App Dev / Web App Dev / Database Systems / Senior Project (Capstone)
Currently, I have joined a new team within the company where I am training to become a Java developer. My training consists of Java SE, Java EE, front-end, and DB2.
As an intern, I maintained and updated systems used within the company by other associates. I worked on various windows services and a windows applications. I mainly used Microsoft tools such as C# .NET, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and a little SharePoint. I also gained experience in creating and consuming REST and SOAP web services.
I have recently taught myself how to solve a rubix cube, and I thought it would be a cool idea to write up something to keep track of my average times and what not.
