Welcome to Reza Ferrydiansyah's (that's me) page. My friends call me Reza, and I am currently a PhD Student at Michigan State University at the department of Computer Science Engineering. I have also worked as a lecturer at the Informatics Department Institut Teknologi Bandung in Indonesia.
This homepage showcases me, me, and more of me. In short, I love creating and solving problems especially using computers through coding. I have also developed various applications; just because I can. I am an amateur photographer, mostly for my own enjoyment. I am an explorer of human minds, part psychologist, part anthropologist.
Research is a big part of my life, being a PhD student and all. I like trying out new things, thinking of new ways of doing something, and making an existing system better. I have done research in a wide variety (computer science wise) of fields. My interests are currently in the fields of AI, HCI, Modeling, and E-learning. Currently my main PhD research topic is on human animation, which I am working on here at the METLAB. I am also pursuing a Cognitive Science Specialization in addition to my PhD. I am also affiliated with the Media, Interface, and Network Design Lab (Mind Lab) here at MSU
Projects
These are a sample of some of my work, both in application development and my research. The projects shown here are only those projects in which I made a significant and exciting contribution. Other projects I've worked on can be seen in the projects link.
