Wayne
Dyksen is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State
University. He also serves as an Associate Director of
MATRIX, The Center for Humane, Arts,
Letters, and Social Sciences OnLine.
Dyksen 's research interests includes computational humanities, cyber security, web services, and high performance computing. He has obtained funding of over $3M to support both teaching and research.
Dyksen joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at MSU in 2001. Previously, he was a member of the faculty of the Department of Computer Sciences at Purdue University for sixteen years.
Dyksen is a member of the Board of Advisors of the College of Information Technology of the United Arab Emirates University. He also serves as a member of the Strategic Partners Council of the Department of Computer Science at Calvin College.
Dyksen holds a B.A. in mathematics from Calvin College along with an M.S. and a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Purdue University.
