Steve Dunham's Home Page

N.B. This page is extremely out of date - I will revamp it as I find time.

About Me

I'm a Computer Scientist and Mathematician. I've been playing with computers since I was a kid (the late '70s), so I came into the field about the time that personal computers (e.g. early cassette deck models) were around and after the front panel switch days.

I also work for the Debian Linux project, for which I've been a Developer since 1996. (I've been using Linux since January of 1995.)

My Interests

Mathematics
Group Theory, Combinatorics, Logic, and Set Theory. This is all getting kinda rusty now.
Computer Science
My computer science interests include programming languages and computability, coding (compression), AI (particularly semantic web stuff), encryption/security, and a variety of other random topics.
Cooking
I'm currently trying to learn how to cook. I haven't put up any content on the subject, though. I'm a big Alton Brown fan.
