Fixing Printing Problems with DOME files

Process for generating EPS files for inclusion in Latex documents

  • In .aliases file (do this once): add the following line: 
     alias fixdomeps ~cse470/Public/Software/Dome/fixdomeps
  • In order to update the current session, at command line: 
     source .aliases
  • The next time you login, you will not have to go through this process
    • For each DOME figure, do the following:
  • In Dome: Print to "Single page postscript" and make sure you uncheck "Landscape".
  • In Ghostview:
  • Under Orientation Tab: Select "Portrait"
  • Under File Tab: Select "PS to EPS"
  • At command line in directory containing EPS file:
    fixdomeps filename
