about meI am a masters student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University. I came from Taipei, Taiwan (Taiwan is a small island with size comparable to Maryland and Taipei is its capital) and started my graduate study since fall 2009. Previously, I majored in the field of biology; I have a bachelor's degree in Plant Pathology and Microbiology and a master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. One day, in the laboratory, I realized that I have stronger preference for computer related tasks over biology related stuff. I took C++/Java/Data Structure courses in my home country as the first step and, then, I applied for the master's degree in Computer Science. That's why I am here now. :) I like to explore novel things and learn something new or from a quite different point of view. Moreover, in the leisure time, I also enjoy traveling, cooking, and observing the behavior of squirrels on campus. You may find something interesting on my website. |
