Li Xiao and Gang Bao (Mathematics) have received a 3-year research
grant through the Division of Computer and Communication Foundations
of the National Science Foundation. The title of the project is:
Foundations of Solving Large Direct and Inverse Scattering problems-
Algorithms Analysis and System Support. The project will develop
both computational methods and system solutions to solve large data-
intensive applications on cluster-based high-end systems.
