The paper "Non-linear Manifold Learning For Data Stream" by Martin H. C. Law, Nan Zhang, and Anil Jain has been selected as the Best Student Paper for the prestigious 2004 SIAM International Conference on Data Mining (SDM) to be held in Orlando in April 2004. Law and Zhang are PhD students in CSE. This work was done in CSE 902 offered in Spring 2003.

All three are to be congratulated on their excellent work. For their accomplishment, they will be presented a certificate during the opening session of the Conference and their award will be noted on the Conference website---points of pride for CSE!
