CSE volunteers are big help at SET Day
This year's Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) Day took
place on Saturday, Feb. 26. The SET annual "open house" provides high
school seniors already admitted to MSU, high school juniors
interested in MSU, and their families the opportunity to see our
facilities, visit our research labs, watch or participate in
demonstrations, and talk to faculty, current students, and staff.
High schol students interested in CSE and their families got to visit
and watch demonstrations in:
- Embodied Intelligence (EI) Laboratory
- Genetic Algorithms Research and Applications (GARAGe) Laboratory
- Media and Entertainment (MET) Laboratory
- Pattern Recognition and Image Processing (PRIP) Laboratory
CSE thanks a committed group of student ambassadors, faculty and staff
for another successful SET Day. Pictured are student volunteers (from
left to right) Tisha Melia, Jennifer Mott, David Smith, Niharika
Joglekar, Randee Bierlein, Leidy Ramirez, John Kyritses, Arthur Covert
and Joe Blaim. Graduate students and faculty were also on hand to
answer questions.
