Kimberly Weaver is Outstanding Senior in Computer Science
The Society of Women Engineers and Ford Motor Company recognized CSE
student Kimberly Weaver with the Outstanding Senior in Computer
Science Award at the Women in Engineering Awards Banquet on February 3.
Besides outstanding academic performance, Kimberly is also an engaged
Spartan. She has participated in the MSU Science Fiction Genre
Evolution Project and as treasurer of the Spartan Hand Bell Choir.
Kimberly enjoys cheering in the Izzone and playing IM soccer and floor
hockey. She spent a summer studying in Austria and a semester at the
Friedrich Schiller Universitat in Jena, Germany, where she sang in the
university student choir. Kimberly is a member of Upsilon Pi Epsilon
and the corresponding and recording secretary of Tau Beta Pi.
The award was sponsored by Ford Motor Company and presented by Adam
Haas.
