Anil Jain is one of 15 experts who have been selected by the Computer Science and Telecommunications Board (CSTB) of the National Academies to participate in the study "Whither Biometrics?" This study will examine the current capabilities and future possibilities of technologies that use biometrics. It will report findings and recommendations for development of these technologies. The CSTB of the National Academies provides independent advice to the federal government on technical and public policy issues relating to computing and communications.
