The Michigan State University Chapter of Sigma Xi, the honorary
scientific society, will recognize three meritorious faculty and nine
meritorious students Thursday, April 28, 2005.

Herman Hughes (CSE) will receive a Senior Meritorious Faculty Award
and Michael Feig (Biochemistry with joint appointments in CSE and
Chemistry) will receive the Junior Meritorious Faculty Award.

The awards will be presented at the annual Sigma Xi dinner on April
28th, 2005. The dinner will feature as speaker Mr. Dennis Cooke,
President, GE Homeland Protection "New Advances in Security
Technology."
