CSE would like to recognize Tom Wolf, ACM President, and Joe Blaim,
Student Ambassador, for their service to CSE as engaged undergraduate
students.

Tom was selected to receive the Service Recognition Award for
2004-2005 in recognition of his excellent leadership as an
undergraduate student in CSE. As President of ACM, he organized 26
MSU students to attend a computing conference in the fall, and he
coordinated several activities to bring students and faculty together
to network, learn and have fun.  Tom has been and continues to be
devoted to CSE. He has served on the Curriculum Committee and has
worked closely with faculty on a variety of projects.  Tom is a 
talented, well-rounded student leader. Thank you, Tom, for all your
hard work and congratulations on your acheivements.  Your efforts did
not go unnoticed!

Joe Blaim represented CSE and Engineering as a Student Ambassador. 
Joe volunteered throughout the year to lead tours for prospective
students and parents.  He also assisted our department in other
recruiting events, like SET Day, and he did set up/clean up in years
past for the Wednesday morning ACM donut and coffee hours---a
highlight of the week for faculty and students alike (those who can
handle the daylight hours, anyway). Thanks, Joe, for repesenting CSE
and for enriching the undergraduate experience in CSE. We appreciate
your dedication and committment!
