Summary of Discussions with G. Stockman
regarding expansion of SENS lab into 3308 EB.

Faculty: Cheng, Dillon, Kulkarni, J Lee, McKinley, Stirewalt

- the door to 3308 will be locked from public
use before Friday (6/1). Efforts will be made to
rekey the lab by Friday (6/1). 3308 will
be rekeyed to have the same lock as the one
used by the current SENS lab (3312). 

- half (1/2) of machines in 3308 will stay in
the lab for SENS use

- replacement monitors will be supplied by
the Department for use with the machines
in 3308. (Apparently, the current monitors
in 3308 need to be used with the new Sun Blades
given their ability to switch between use as
a PC or a Unix box.)

- at least half of the desks/workstation tables
in 3308 will stay in the lab for SENS use

- Other desks and workstation tables from the two
first floor labs  will be used to fill out the
rest of the furniture needed for the SENS expansion.

- 8 carrels from the first floor lab or current
  ELANS lab will be available for SENS use.

- 4 columns of lockers (5 bins each) from the
first floor labs will be made available for 
SENS use.
