Alumni Portrait: Kevin Ohl

Kevin Ohl graduated from MSU in December 1978 with a B.S. in Computer Science.  He went on to graduate from MSU in June 1981 with an M.B.A. in Accounting.  (Kevin addresses the Fall '98 graduates at the breakfast which Crowe Chizek generously supports each semester.)

Kevin was very active in the Computer Science Department, serving as a teaching assistant, faculty assistant and grader, course coordinator, instructor. He also participated on the Curriculum Committee.

Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant (although admittedly "non-practicing"), and is certified as a CDP and CCP by the ICCP.

Kevin is currently a Partner with Crowe Chizek. Throughout his career at Crowe Chizek, he has served various roles, including assisting clients with the selection and implementation of software systems (particularly in the manufacturing industry), software development on midrange computer systems, and strategic systems planning for Crowe Chizek’s clients.

Currently, Kevin manages the System Consulting Group in Crowe Chizek’s Oak Brook (Chicago) office. He also serves on the management committee for the firm’s System Consulting Group.

Kevin has been  a strong supporter of the Department.  He serves on the Department's Board of Visitors and he has been a regular sponsor of the graduation breakfasts which the Department holds each semester.
