Corporate Partners Program
Vision for Technology
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Michigan State University is excited to contribute to a vision in which the State of Michigan is a driving force for future innovation in computing and information technology (IT).
Goals
The purpose of our Corporate Partnership Program is to:
- dispel misconceptions about outsourcing and a lack of jobs in the area
- decrease underrepresentation of women and minorities in IT
- address the lack of qualified professionals to fill IT positions
- improve community education and resources
- promote a strong future for technology in the Mid-Michigan area
- facilitate collaboration between industry, education, government, and citizens
Growing Demand for Professionals
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that six of the thirty fastest growing occupations through 2014 will be "computer related" and ranks all six computer-related occupations in the top salary category.
In the last three years, CSE has seen growing demand for its graduates and increasing requests from IT companies to increase their involvement with CSE.
Our Corporate Partnership Program strives to meet our nation's needs in corporate recruitment and IT development, while also benefiting students and educational programs in CSE.

Each of our partners has a unique vision and company culture that they bring to the community.
