Tan and Jain awarded ARO grant
Pang-Ning Tan,
Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, and Anil Jain, University Distinguished Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, received a research grant from the Army Research Office for the project "Information Assurance: Detection & Response to Web Spam Attacks".
The goal of the proposed research is to develop novel data mining techniques to detect web spam in social media web sites.
