Jain to receive ICDM award
Anil K. Jain, University Distinguished Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, has won the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM) Research Contributions Award. ICDM is billed as the world's premier research conference in data mining.
This award is given to one individual or one group who has made influential research contributions to the field of data mining.
Jain will accept the award and deliver a lecture at ICDM 2008 in Pisa, Italy, December 2008.
