Programs loose settings or not work at all
If you receive this error, it is probably due to exceeding disk
quota. The last time you logged off a windows machine, the profile
was not successfully saved to your home directory. Sometimes the problems are simple as applications with abnormal behaviour. Once corrupt, profiles are not easy to fix. Best solution is to clear it out.
Follow this:
- Double check your disk quota. If you are at or near the limit, clear out old or big files.
- Double click the desktop icon "Clear_CSE_XP_Profile.vbs"
- It will automatically log you out. Wait 1 full minute before logging in again.
- Log back into a PC.
