Using Outlook


 
Setting up Outlook on Windows
  1) Double click on the 'Microsoft Outlook' icon
  2) Go to the 'Tools' menu and select accounts
        Click on 'add'
    Click on 'mail'
  3) Enter your Name
  4) Enter your E-mail Address
  5) Select 'IMAP' server
    Incoming IMAP server is 'mail.cse.msu.edu'
    Outgoing SMTP server can either be your ISP or mail.cse.msu.edu. Need to turn on smtp authentication
  6) Enter your CSE user id and password
  7) Leave the connection set to LAN
  8) Click finish
  9) Select the new account
    Click the 'properties' button
    Click on the IMAP button and enter 'mail' for root folder path and unclick Check for new messages in all folders
  10) click OK
