Class of 2007 Endowment in Computer Science and Engineering
"Be an agent for change. Regardless of what anyone tells you, you can make a difference." — Kevin J. Ohl, Distinguished CSE Alumnus
CSE Alumnus Kevin Ohl has provided starting funding for new endowment in honor of the class of 2007. The endowment will provide scholarships to CSE students.
Kevin invites the class of 2007 to take advantage of this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of future computer science students.
A Legacy for the Future
Imagine making a contribution that leaves a legacy to the College of Engineering for many generations to come. Such a lasting impact can be easily made by establishing an endowment of your own. By establishing a named endowment fund, you will enable the College to support excellent students, teachers, and programs by providing a steady and permanent source of income.
How it works
After the Class of 2007 Computer Science and Engineering Endowment fund has reached the $30,000 minimum balance, which can be pledged over a five year period, a portion of the interest income earned on the principle is annually distributed in the form of scholarship/fellowship dollars. As the balance of our fund increases over time, so does the income available for CSE student scholarships. The remainder of the interest income earned then builds the principle.
