MSU Campus Photos
The Michigan State
University campus lies on the banks of the Red Cedar River and is adjacent
to the city of East Lansing. The beautiful, park-like campus is large
(over 2000 acres) and is adorned with towering oaks, flowering fruit trees,
and flower gardens. Highlights include the
W. J. Beal Botanical
Gardens,
Beaumont Tower,
the Wharton
Center for the Performing Arts, the
MSU Horticulture Demonstration
Gardens, the
Michigan 4-H Children's
Garden, and the
Red
Cedar River itself. Jogging/biking trails extend through the campus along
the river and join the Lansing-area Riverwalk, which continues through parks
and wooded areas for approximately 4 miles to downtown Lansing.
