Welcome the birth home of IEEE CIS AMD Newsletter, the Newsletter of the Autonomous Mental Development Technical Committee (AMD TC). This newsletter is a medium to share information within the AMD community and a vehicle to reach other communities.
We expect to produce two issues per year and plan to have the following regular columns:
• Committee News: AMD TC events and news
• General News: announcements of related
conferences,
workshops, books, journals, etc.
• Other: other matters such as dialogues and glossaries
The success of this newsletter depends on your support! Please send the material you recommend and your suggestions to the editor.
We would like to thank IEEE CIS for funding this Newsletter to print and distribute hard copies of this newsletter internationally. We also like to thank INRIA for a fund from 2008 to print and distribute the hard copies of this newsletter in Europe.
The Mental Development Respository, created April 2004, provides information about the subject of Automomenous Mental Development. The International Conferences on Development and Leanring are the major conference series of this TC. The IEEE Transactions on Autonomous Mental Development is the major journal of the TC. The Brain-Mind Institute supports the educational and research activities of the TC and, in a wider scope but necessary for AMD, the 6 related disciplines --- biology, neurocience, psychology (cognitive science), computer science, electrical engineering, and mathematics.
