CSE Department Poster Workshop
April 13, 2000
| The Year 2000 Annual Computer Science
and Engineering Department Poster Workshop was a great
success. Graduate and
undergraduate students are strongly
encouraged to present their work in this workshop. The workshop included prizes
in recognition of interesting work and top quality presentations. The Student Poster Workshop gives students an opportunity
to share and showcase their research with other student, faculty, and
visitors to our department. |
Welcome to the 2000 Department of Computer Science and
Engineering Annual Poster Workshop!
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is proud to present
the 2000 Poster Workshop.
Once again, a large number of our graduate and undergraduate students
have participated in this workshop. We received a total of 51
submissions (40 from graduate students) and (11 from undergraduate
students).
The goal of this workshop is to give students an opportunity to
display their research work and be recognized for it. It will also
inform our students and faculty about the research being conducted in
our department. We also expect that this workshop will inspire our new
students to do quality research.
`The workshop includes prizes to recognize the best poster (overall),
best poster (graduate student) and best poster (undergraduate student).
Sponsors
The poster workshop is sponsored this year by Microsoft,
Crowe Chizek, IBM, Sun, and the College of Engineering.
Past poster workshops have been sponsored by Hewlett Packard, IBM, Lucent
Technologies, Siemens, Intel, Microsoft, Silicon Graphics, Sun Microsystems, Texas
