The Work Flow Engine (WFE) will be a configurable tool which will allow users to model and comply to business procedures via the World Wide Web. The system will allow administrators to model current and future business procedures, and users will be able to initiate and monitor proposals as they progress through each phase of a business procedure. The WFE will be a real time system in the sense that it will monitor time and date deadlines. It will improve the current manual system by making business procedures easier to follow and monitor, and faster to complete. The WFE will facilitate the promote the exchange of information by allowing users to view the progress of all proposals and it will send email notifications to users to help disperse necessary information.
