Companies need cheap solutions to their email problems. A Web-based email server management tool run on the Linux operating system is a good solution to the email problem. First of all, Linux is free. Also, an email program that is accessible through the World Wide Web and designed to run off a Linux mail server would give users access to their mail anywhere in the world. MailMe will be a useful tool for companies who do not want to use the expensive email servers and E-mail programs. Only a webbrowser will be needed to check your mail; no separate programs needs to be instantiated. Administrators will be able to start their own E-mail service with little startup cost, and have control over that service. Administering a users mailboxes should be as simple as possible. System administrations will be able to log onto the system and access the Administrative Menu. From the Administrative Menu, the administration will have the ability to start or stop the mail server, create/delete/suspend user accounts, and setup the mail domain. MailMe users will log onto the system and have options to check new mail, read, reply, delete, compose, logout, and setup preferences such as signature or setting up aliases. If time permits, other user preferences such as address book might be added.
