The field of computer science is evolving at a staggering pace. And though most of the fundamentals remain constant, it is difficult for textbooks to maintain the scope, depth, and currency needed for university level courses. W.R.i.T.E. allows multiple authors to create and archive dynamic webpages on specific topics and then assemble these pages into a "textbook" that is interactive, configurable, and easily updated.
