| The Editor-in-Chief of Pattern Recognition Letters has announced that MSU Department of Computer Science and Engineering University Distinguished Professor Anil Jain will receive the 2012 Most Cited Paper Award for the article "Data clustering: 50 years beyond K-means", Pattern Recognition Letters, vol. 31, no. 8, pp. 651-666, June 2010.
