| Soweon Yoon, Jianjiang Feng and Anil Jain received the IAPR Best Biometrics Student Paper Award at the International Joint Conference on Biometrics, Washington D.C., Oct 11-13, 2011. The paper is entitled "Latent Fingerprint Enhancement via Robust Orientation Field Estimation".
Soweon Yoon is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University. Jianjiang Feng was a postdoctoral researcher in the Pattern Recognition and Image Processing Laboratory (PRIP) at Michigan State University and is currently at the Department of Automation in Tsinghua University, China. Anil Jain is a University Distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University. |
