Devolab paper discussed in US News and World Report
US News & World Report recently highlighted work performed by researchers in the Devolab in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). The research on how species become altruistic originally appeared in the Proceedings of the Royal Society of London, and is impacting further discussion among the general public. The authors of the paper include Jeff Clune, former CSE PhD student and currently a postdoctoral researcher at Cornell University, Heather Goldsby, PhD student in CSE, Charles Ofria, Associate Professor in CSE, and Robert Pennock, Professor of Lyman Briggs and CSE.
