Anil Jain, University Distinguished Professor in the departments of computer science and engineering and electrical and computer engineering, was appointed as a guest professor in the department of electronic engineering at Tsinghua University. Jain accepted the three-year appointment at a brief ceremony in Beijing on June 16, 2009.
Tsinghua University is considered one of China's most renowned universities. According to the 2008 U.S. News & World Report's World's Best Colleges and Universities rankings, it was rated among the top 12 engineering and information technology schools in the world. |
