Matt Mutka, professor and chairperson of computer science and engineering, has been awarded research support from the U.S. Army TACOM for a project entitled "Supermedia Enabled Human/Machine Interfacing for Teleoperation of UGVs". This project develops network support for supermedia enabled interfaces that integrate humans with semi-autonomous and autonomous robotic agents.
