Joyce Chai has received a grant from the Robust Intelligence Program at the National Science Foundation. This is a collaborative project with Professor Katrin Kirchhoff at the University of Washington. The project, titled "Contextual Machine Translation," will investigate the role of multimodality and discourse in machine translation of multiparty conversations.
