| Dr. Anil Jain is now included on ISI’s most highly cited authors list (isihighlycited.com). According to ISI, individuals on the highly cited list comprise less than one-half of one percent of all publishing researchers.
In another ranking based on Google Scholar citation collections, Dr. Jain ranked 10th among computer scientists who have an h-index of 40 or higher. UC San Diego Professor Jorge E. Hirsch developed the h-index as a single metric that incorporates the number of publications and citations. For example, researchers with an h-index of 40 have published at least 40 papers that have each been cited at least 40 times. There are only about 100 computer scientists with an h-index of 40 or higher. |
