The Department of Computer Science and Engineering will hold a Poster Workshop October 21, 2011. The Poster Workshop gives CSE students an opportunity to display their research and receive recognition for their efforts. It informs other students, faculty, and visitors about the research being conducted in our department and has been an important community-building activity for over a decade. A Best Poster competition will be held. A panel of judges will evaluate the posters in terms of several factors, including effectiveness of the presentation, research contributions, and potential impact.
Judging of posters will take place from 12:00-1:30pm on October 21. Students should be available near their posters during this time to briefly describe their work and answer questions from judges and other attendees. Pizza will be provided.
An awards and recognition ceremony will be held in the hall outside the main conference room 3105 EB at 3:00pm.
The department encourages submissions from both graduate and undergraduate researchers. Please review the submission guidelines for detailed instructions.
