2005 MSU Women in Computing Founded

MSU Women in Computing was founded by several female students in the department, with the help of Teresa Vandersloot and Laurie Dillon. MSUWIC sought to encourage retention and recruitment of women to computing majors, as well as to provide a welcoming, enriching, and supportive environment for women interested in computing technology.
