Research

I am currently a Ph.D. student at Michigan State University in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. I received my B.S. & M.S. from Western Michigan University from the Department of Computer Science in '02 & '04, respectively. My research is focused on digital evolution and evolving emergent systems. Basically, I attempt to solve complex problems by harnessing the power of evolution. If you're interested I have some publications that are linked to my curriculum vitae.

Academic Experience

Currently, I am a research assistant at Michigan State University under Dr. Philip McKinley and teach an introductory C++ course at Lansing Comunity College. In the passed I have TAed for CSE 422 & 335 and CS 104 & 105 at my previous school.

Life

I am happily married with twin boys. I spend most of my time at school or at home.
